Patriot Log - Earthdate 7/5/2007
Played again a bit last night, burning off the parade-scavenged candy and fireworks high.
Gained a whopping 4 points on a Conquest, and a 25 on a Titan. Wasn't too bad. Teams lacked a certain...everything--mostly the Gupster, Eldarama and Sera-ly'ya. While the Conquest team kicked serious bootay, the Titan team got wiped.
I got a few kills in with the new 'nades which was rather enjoyable, and I actually got a kill in with the new rockets! But to be perfectly honest, I think that was only because the walker was getting pummeled by a gunship and I just happened to land the last blow. Ah, well. To the well-timed go the spoils, yeah?
The number of times I wasted an entire mag on someone to only have them turn around and waste me decreased significantly. I may be getting better! Course...that could've been because I got most all of my points by capturing silos.... Nah. Let's go with I'm getting better!
I played last night because I was so close to a promotion. Well, that and I had to wake up so I could get some work done directly after. I got the promotion and an unlock. Spent it on the defibrillator. Next unlock: a better gun.
